Dust Reduction

We are aware of community concerns regarding dust (particulates) within the local area and are proactively seeking to reduce emissions from our Birkenhead Plant through a range of actions, as outlined on our control measures page.

We continuously test both air quality and dust transmission in the community by conducting regular and extensive emissions and ambient dust assessments. Please visit our dust monitoring page to learn more.

While maintaining a strong commitment to reduce our impact on both the environment and the local community, we recognise that the Birkenhead Plant is just one contributor to fugitive dust in the area, along with other industry and emissions from motor vehicles and trucks.

Adelaide Brighton Cement “Women in Industry” Open Day
