Concert for flood-affected Riverland residents

Adbri Cement was a proud supporter of last night’s free Garden Party concert in Renmark for the people of the Riverland, who are recovering from the recent devastating floods.

The Riverland Garden Party was the creation of Adelaide radio personalities Mark Soderstrom and Rebecca Morse (“Bec and Soda”) from SAFM, together with the Garden of Unearthly Delights and the Renmark Paringa Council.

It was a big night of all-star Garden comedy and circus performances, starring Tom Gleeson, Harley Breen, Ivan Aristeguieta, Markus Birdman from Best of the Edinburgh Fest, Dave Thornton, Laser Kiwi and more.

Fundraising by concert organisers also helps a mental health programme to support people affected by the floods.

The concert was brought to the Riverland because many people would struggle at the moment to travel to Adelaide to visit the Garden of Unearthly Delights while they are busy working through the clean-up after the floods.
