EPA Approves ABC Birkenhead Process Change Application

The SA EPA has finalised the assessment of ABC’s application to increase the use of Black Sand and Blended Mill Scale at the Birkenhead plant.

The application has been approved. The EPA has amended Schedule X-1 of the Birkenhead Licence 1126 which details the allowable feed rates for Black Sand and Blended Mill Scale.
