The Portland Football Club is a community-based Australian Rules football club focused on developing junior and senior footballers and encouraging active participation for all members within a successful club environment.

Portland Football Club prides itself on providing an inclusive and family orientated club where everyone is welcome.

The Portland Football Club has produced several players who have gone on to have careers at the highest level. Some of these players include Tyson Stengle (Richmond, Adelaide Football Club and Geelong, all Australian 2022) and Jared Petrenko (Adelaide Football Club).

The Portland Football Club is committed to promoting the benefits of a disciplined and healthy community based lifestyle. The club looks to develop community leaders who provide positive role models within the club and extended community.

The club was founded in 1997 and encompasses former clubs: Riverside, Alberton United and Ethelton Football Clubs.
